KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island men's basketball head coach David Cox will be helping America run on Dunkin' to benefit Hasbro Children's Hospital as part of National Iced Coffee Day Wednesday, May 22.
Cox will be working at the Dunkin' located at 1241 Ten Road Road in North Kingstown from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. He will be taking and handing out orders both through the drive-thru window and behind the main counter. For every iced coffee sold in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Dunkin' will donate $1 to Hasbro Children's Hospital.
Since 2010, Dunkin' and its customers in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts have donated more than $2 million to Hasbro Children's Hospital.
Following his shift in the store, Cox and members of the Rhode Island men's basketball team will head to Hasbro Children's Hospital to deliver iced coffees to the staff.
